We have updated our grant application form for ease of completion and to better meet compliance and accountability of funds being used. This involves the request for more information and documentation.

IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT - Nautilus Foundation Merger With Trillian Trust

After 13 years operating as a Class 4 Charitable gaming trust, the Trustees of Nautilus Foundation have finalised negotiations to merge all of its operations with Trillian Trust to take effect from 1 June 2013. The Nautilus Foundation gaming venues which generate funds to distribute to the community will be transferred to Trillian Trust by the end of May 2013.

Final Grants Distribution
The last day for accepting Nautilus Foundation grant applications for consideration will be Monday,10June 2013. It is envisaged the final Nautilus Foundation trustees meeting for considering grant applications will take place by the end of July 2013.

We recommend that all community groups that use to apply to Nautilus Foundation now apply to Trillian Trust from 1 June 2013 (see www.trillian.co.nz).

On-going Compliance
Once the final grants distribution meeting has taken place, the process of closing down Nautilus Foundation will begin. However, before we close down, we will conduct our compliance audits to follow up with grant recipients with any outstanding accountability reports and documentation to verify grant expenditure.
